Talk on the Art of Medicinal Wines in Asian Medicine 4/10/16

Herbal medicine has been extracted using alcohol for thousands of years. China has the longest ongoing tradition of medicinal wines. Dr. Gores will explain the foundations of how to construct a medicinal wine for certain herbs and health conditions. Different alcohols, extraction methods, dosages, and clinical applications will be discussed. These are not “table wines” or tinctures, but the ancient method of constructing a true elixir.
